This post may not be completely grammatically sound, but I want to get it out there so I hope no one sends this to any of the wonderful writing teachers I have had over the years – I’d hate to disappoint them. I got my test results from my follow up CT the week before […]

Broken Shells
I have really struggled to write since my dissection and TIA. I have what health care professionals call brain fog – concentration on some things – is hard for me. Hopefully, not everyone around me notices, but I know. Believe it or not, the drivel that I post really takes some time and thought to […]
I Choose Abundance
This time last week, I was forcing myself to get out of my bed and my house. This time week before last I was dealing with a terrible headache and unequal pupils. The week before that, I had auras and a headache that I thought were migraine or sinus related. In between these events, I […]
Off leash dogs and the Lord
I am writing this post past my bedtime while waiting on my dog, Tippy, to come home. She took a little stroll to somewhere this afternoon and I was sure she had been picked up or had run away because she normally stays pretty close to the house. After a search and some worry, she […]
Unwanted or Unexpected? Either way, it might be just what you needed.
When I about 6 years old, I got a coat for Christmas from my Grammy. Now normally, my Grammy killed it in the gift department but that year, not so much. My momma told her I needed a coat and you would think that, knowing my aspirations to be Miss America, Grammy would have picked […]

What to wear?
The Lord uses my kids to teach me so much. My youngest son and I had an argument Sunday morning getting ready to go to church. He is ten and he is “all boy” as they say. He loves to run and slide on his knees. You can see the evidence on the knees of […]
Cause the Dresser Won’t Fit
No since leaving it in storage… It all started because my friend Karla refinished my friend Kristi’s china cabinet that belonged to her grandmother. It was beautiful and I remembered that I had a dresser in storage that belonged to Hubby’s mom that I could redo. My closet needs a little (lot) of organizational help.
What Would Jesus Post?
A better question might be what does Jesus think of what you post? Once you label yourself as a Christian, the world looks at you differently. It also listens to and reads what you post on social media differently. Should it? Aren’t Christians really just plain old sinners who have chosen to believe that they […]
Am I enough?
I struggle with feeling inadequate…
