Chocolate Caramel Chews

Ok, if you are looking for a last minute super easy homemade (sort of) candy, you should totally try this!

The hardest thing is unwrapping the caramels. Really.

Or maybe figuring out how to reheat the chocolate when you leave the spoon in the bowl and then can’t microwave the whole thing. 😝

All you need is a bag of caramels, chocolate bark and toffee bits!

Really, that’s all there is.

I melted about 12 oz. in a bowl in the microwave. Start with about 30 seconds and stir and heat a few more seconds and stir until it is melted enough to coat caramels.

The hotter the chocolate, the thinner your coating will be.

Nothing hard about this.

I know you knew that, but I saw a warning on a sling shot today that recommended storing ammo and the weapon “separately to keep them from untrained shooters” so I felt obligated to tell you.

Actual warning.

Anyway, unwrap the caramels and toss them in the bowl of chocolate.

Kind of roll them around with a fork and then put them on waxed paper.

Before they cool and lose the glossy look, sprinkle toffee bits on them!

That’s it!

Share them with friends and family or eat them yourself! No judgement here!
